Interventions include individual and family counseling, as well as crisis intervention and skill building. The focus of the program is to strengthen the abilities of families to provide for their children and to prevent unnecessary placement of children.
Workers may also coordinate visitation between families and their child(ren) in foster care.
The program may also address needs for food, medical care, housing assistance, other mental health services, or support services.
