Winterfest at the Arboretum
 

With all the snow that Erie typically receives each year, a Winterfest seemed the logical event. The best day to hold it has been the Sunday before Super Bowl . . . no sports on television to compete with family time!

What Is This Event?

All activities are FREE:
  • Hosted by Family Services of NW PA & LEAF
  • Horse drawn carriage rides
  • Interactive snow sculpture
  • Outdoor arts & crafts
  • Sledding, tubing, snow boarding and cross country skiing
  • Snow-baseball game (tentative)
  • Music
  • This event is made possible by the generosity and sponsorship of local businesses
When And Where Is This Event Held?

  • Sunday before Super Bowl
  • 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Lake Erie Arboretum at Frontier – 8th & the Bayfront
  • Food will be provided at a nominal cost
